Sam Kunianski | Executive Vice President,
Chief Banking Officer
Sam Kunianski has been the Executive Vice President and Chief Banking Officer of the Bank since 2022, previously serving as the Executive Vice President, C&I Commercial Banking since 2020. He is responsible for leading the Bank’s commercial banking teams with a focus on growing customer relationships, increasing loan and deposit production, and expanding the company’s client base throughout Southern California. Prior to his promotion to CBO, he served as the Bank’s EVP, Commercial Banking. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President for American Business Bank (2019-2020). Prior to that, he served as Executive Vice President, Commercial and Private Banking for California United Bank (2006-2017) and Head of Commercial Banking- Los Angeles Market for Santa Monica Bank and its successor, US Bank (1998-2006).
Active in the community, Mr. Kunianski serves on the Board of Directors of Inner City Arts in Los Angeles (2014- present) and is a former director of The Boys and Girls Club of Santa Monica. He received his bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
