Bank of Southern California to Open New Downtown Office in July

SAN DIEGO, CA – First Business Bank N.A. (OTC Bulletin Board: FBBN), which announced last week that it will change its name to Bank of Southern California effective next Monday, June 28, 2010, has announced that the bank will open a new office in July to serve the business and professional markets of downtown San Diego. The office will be located at 1620 5th Avenue, Suite 120, San Diego, 92101.

Nathan Rogge, President and Chief Executive Officer, said, “The new office will serve the needs of growing downtown businesses that desire the more customized and consultative banking approach that our bank provides. The office is part of our long-term plan to continue to expand the bank’s footprint within San Diego County and beyond.”

Katherine Willey, who joined the bank as a Senior Vice President for business development earlier this year, will manage the new office.

First Business Bank, which operates offices in Del Mar, Carlsbad and Ramona, had $124.5 million in assets as of March 31, 2010.
