Gaylin Anderson | Executive Vice President,
Chief Banking Officer
Gaylin Anderson joined Bank of Southern California in May 2018 as Executive Vice President, Market Executive. Mr. Anderson is responsible for the Bank’s growth within the newly added Los Angeles & Orange County markets.
Prior to joining Bank of Southern California, Mr. Anderson held the position of Executive Vice President at Banc of California overseeing all retail branches, as well as the bank’s investment program. Prior to that he served as Senior Vice President with Cal National Bank/US Bank managing the retail ranch network, sales and service, the bank’s investment program, and marketing group. Before Cal National, he worked for Citibank running the Northern California Region. He also held the Senior Vice President title with Cal Fed, managing their Phone Banking unit while also responsible for the Sales and Service group. He also served as Director of Sales and Regional Manager covering Los Angeles, Orange and Ventura Counties. Mr. Anderson started his career with Zion’s Bank in Salt Lake City, Utah and has over 30 years of experience in Financial Services, Retail Banking and Community Business Banking areas.
Mr. Anderson has been a Ventura County resident for over 25 years and currently resides in Simi Valley, California with his wife of 26 years and their 2 children. He attended the University of Utah and attended the University of Virginia’s Banking School. He is advocate of financial literacy and has been on or supported numerous groups that support this same cause: LATMA, Junior Achievement, Bank Works and Habitat for Humanity just to name a few.
